Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 4.30pm with 30 mins Lunch Break. Friday, 8.00am - 3.30 pm with 30 mins Lunch Break.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

  • Heat treatment

  • Shot peening

  • Inventory control
  • Health and Safety

  • You will be working towards a Level 3 Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship Standard
  • You will be required to attend Cornwall College St Austell or Falmouth Marine School on a weekly basis as part of the apprenticeship training
  • You will receive support from an assessor and an apprenticeship adviser

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 3)
  • Maths (grade 3)
