Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
- Assist with the analysis defective modules from process test failures and parts returned from the field by customers
- Perform component analysis using Oscilloscopes, signal generators and diagnostic software
- Assist in data collection and statistical analysis, to support the compilation of customer and internal technical reports in a timely manner
- Support the carrying out of environmental testing using various environmental test chambers
- Liaise with other departments (design, manufacturing, test) to ensure corrective action investigation
- Liaise with SQA & suppliers to verify component related failures
- Provide support to both laboratory and product quality technicians where necessary
