Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an Admin/ Customer Service Apprentice to join our friendly team in Greenhithe. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working in a team, and wants to develop valuable skills in a supportive environment.

Wage

£14,918.80 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Course contents
  • Use a range of questioning skills, including listening and responding in a way that builds rapport, determines customer needs and expectations and achieves positive engagement and delivery.
  • Depending on your job role and work environment: Use appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication skills, along with summarising language during face-to-face communications; and/or
  • Depending on your job role and work environment: Use appropriate communication skills, along with reinforcement techniques (to confirm understanding) during non-facing customer interactions.
  • Depending on your job role and work environment: Use an appropriate ‘tone of voice’ in all communications, including written and digital, that reflect the organisation’s brand.
  • Provide clear explanations and offer options in order to help customers make choices that are mutually beneficial to both the customer and your organisation.
  • Be able to organise yourself, prioritise your own workload/activity and work to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate patience and calmness.
  • Show you understand the customer’s point of view.
  • Use appropriate sign-posting or resolution to meet your customers needs and manage expectations.
  • Maintain informative communication during service recovery.

Your training plan

  • Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship standard
  • Functional Skills in English & maths (if the apprentice does not have GCSE 9-4)
  • All training is work-based (no college days)

Access Control Services Ltd is a limited company. In April 2002 the company was incorporated after 21 successful years trading as a partnership. Founded in 1979, initially as a security distribution and consultancy service serving the emerging access control sector of the UK security industry, ACS has been manufacturing and designing microprocessor based security systems since the mid 1980’s. Day-to-day activity now focuses on the equally important tasks of manufacturing and development – as well as sales and technical support for our system integrator/installer network.
