Summary
Commercial Blinds and Glazing are looking for a hardworking individual to join the team as an Engineering Operative apprentice. The successful candidate will assist with the in-house production of roller blinds.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
- Assisting with the in-house production of roller blinds
- Working towards tight dealines
- Working to accurate sizes to ensure all blinds are made to measure
- Using machinery, chopsaws, hand tools and automated cutting tables
- Working our fabric and components to reduce company waste and increase company profitability
- Packagine and labelling of jobs correctly
- Ensuring the work area is clean, tidy and maintanied a good working condition

- Training will be delivered by a combination of all round training in the workplace and will also involve attending college one day a week at Hopwood Hall College (Middleton Campus). You will be assigned a 'work-based tutor' from Hopwood Hall College who will support you through your qualification
