Summary
We are looking for an Engineering apprentice to join our friendly, hard-working team. The apprentice will learn to use various machinery and tools alongside completing necessary documentation accurately and efficiently.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work

Machining components to precise specifications.

Operating CNC Lathe, CNC Grinding machines.

Using measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers, and optical measuring tools.

Following safety protocols and ensuring all products are machined to the provided work instructions.

Completing all documentation accurately.

Keeping the machine area clean, tidy, and organised.

Complying with all health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

Your training plan
- The apprentice will be expected to attend college one day per week, the rest of the week will be spent on site.
- All work/portfolio will be uploaded to the CRM system Aptem
- Skills coach will visit the work place every 4-6 weeks
- The apprentice will be entitled to 6 hours 'off the job' every week for training, shadowing colleagues and/or studying.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4-9)
- Maths (grade 4-9)
