Summary

Labone Castleside Ltd have the opportunity for a Engineering Operative Apprentice to join their company. As part of the role, you will have exposure to toolroom equipment and machinery such as CNC Mills, CNC EDM and general machine equipment. The role will be varied and full training on site will be provided.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you’ll do at work

Daily duties/tasks:

  • Tool maker
  • Electrical work
  • Assembly Machine repairs
  • Work with a variety of toolroom equipment such as CNC mills, CNC EDM, and general machine equipment, (this list is not exhaustive)
  • Apply knowledge and experience to tooling situations
  • Perform independently and use experience to guide work
  • Maintain and promote a safe and clean work environment
  • Support Production Department as required

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

Must be able to get to work for an 8am start.

About this company

Plastic injection mouldings and assembly, supported by a full project engineering function. We take programs from CAD models to mass production, supporting the customer throughout.
