Summary
You will work under the guidance of teachers, be involved in working with individuals or small groups of children to support the education, personal and social development of pupils and establishing positive relationships to assist all pupils complete structured learning activities.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Support to implement learning activities working with individual or small groups of pupils.
- Support in producing learning resources, demonstrating creativity.
- Assist in pupil supervision, with occasional supervision of whole class.
- Support in monitoring and recording of pupil progress and developmental needs, reporting pupil progress to the class teacher.
- Working to the relevant apprenticeship framework and completing work in a timely manner including attending college.
- To undertake any of the duties normally associated with a
- Teaching Assistant to support with their training and development.
- To build and maintain positive relationships with children.
- Provide basic clerical support such as photocopying, laminating and displays.
- Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all our children.
- Comply with all policies and procedures relating to health, safety and security, confidentiality, data protection and safeguarding.
- Recognise your own strengths and areas of expertise and use these to advise and support others.
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities consistent with the nature, level and grade of the post.
