Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Working from the Sunderland based office, you will support the mortgage advisers in all aspects of administration including:
- Data inputting
- Processing lenders applications for clients
- Dealing with solicitors, estate agents and insurance providers

- The Financial Services Administrator apprenticeship is ideal for learners beginning an entry level role in the financial sector
- As an entry level role, this apprenticeship provides the foundation knowledge, skills and experience for progression along a number of career paths

Professional Qualifications:
- CeMAP1 - awarded by London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF)
- Completion of CeMAP1 will provide a solid foundation for the learner and can lead on to progression to study in other areas
- To help prepare the apprentice for the professional qualification, Apprentices are provided with Simply Academy’s qualification resource package, alongside a structured study plan supported by a series of live revision sessions with our qualified tutors

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English, Maths and 3 other subjects (grade 4/C or above)

After this apprenticeship
- The right person will work as part of the administration team, supporting the mortgage advisers while studying towards the Financial Services Administrator Apprenticeship and CeMAP 1 during the first year
- Experiencing the things you are learning about makes passing the exams so much easier. We pride ourselves on training and all of our current admin team are studying towards becoming advisers
- In the second year you will continue to in the administration role while studying CeMAP 2,3
- Ongoing support and training is always available from the team and we also provide external training for software packages and lenders systems
- The right person with the right attitude can become a fully competent adviser with unlimited earning potential. We currently have 3 advisers who have started as teenagers and are now fully competent advisers
