Wage
£19,500 a year

• You will get a salary between £19,500 and £24,000 dependent on age and experience.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

The role will consist of working within the trust and tax departments, carrying out the following tasks: 

  • Assisting with the preparation of trust accounts and tax returns.
  • Preparing R185 trust income forms.
  • Assisting clients with meeting their tax compliance requirements.
  • Preparing personal tax returns and computations.
  • Resolving client queries with HMRC.
  • Undertaking research into more complex tax matters.
  • Providing assistance to senior staff on various tax advisory.
