Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
- Shadowing an experienced Project Manager
- Reviewing and discussing RAMS & project specifications
- Hands on experience with installing / repairing projects
- Assist in organising vehicles with the correct tools and materials for each job at the start of each day
- Assist in stock checks and preparations for the following days work

- You will be working towards a Level 2 Roofer Apprenticeship Standard
- You will receive on and off-the-job training and support from an assessor and an Apprenticeship advisor
- You will be required to attend Cornwall College St Austell on a weekly basis as part of the apprenticeship training

We have won the NFRC Gold Award for Health, Safety and The Environment 2022 & 2023. We hold a CHAS Advanced accreditation. Main contractors at The University of Exeter, for an apprentice this provides a unique opportunity to cover multiple roofing disciplines on a regular basis. We cover all areas across the South West, most of our domestic work is based within Cornwall. Noting we do travel several days a week to Exeter University.
