Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

Your training plan

Rail Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

  • You will complete your apprenticeship at a training centre local to you. throughout your apprenticeship you will have assigned release so you can focus on your training
  • After completing the course, you’ll not only have your NVQ Level 3 in Railway Engineering, you’ll also hold the Institute of Leadership and Management Level 3

Essential qualifications

GCSE or equivalent in:

  • Any subject (grade 9-4)
  • English Language (grade 9-4)
  • Maths (grade 9-5)
  • Science (grade 9-4)
