Summary

As part of our team, you’ll help shape national projects, embrace the latest tech and learn the skills to succeed. Duties will include: Maintenance of railway infrastructure. Inspection of track. Working as part of a team to renew and develop new railway assets.

You may be required to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and night shifts. Shifts to be confirmed.

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

Rail Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

You will complete your apprenticeship at a training centre local to you. throughout your apprenticeship you will have assigned release so you can focus on your training
After completing the course, you’ll not only have your NVQ Level 3 in Railway Engineering, you’ll also hold the Institute of Leadership and Management Level 3

Essential qualifications

GCSE or equivalent in:

Any subject (grade 9-4)
English Language (grade 9-4)
Maths (grade 9-5)
Science (grade 9-4)
