Summary

The apprentice will undertake installation, testing, servicing, removal, replacement, maintenance and repair of a range of equipment, sometimes complex, as part of planned preventative and reactive maintenance programmes.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Assist with and perform installation and maintenance tasks in order to ensure the effective operation of various electrical and mechanical plant equipment
  • Repairing or maintaining all electrical and mechanical equipment alongside completing pre-scheduled preventative maintenance
