Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Mixed Competition Livery yard. Dressage horses working at PSG and Inter 1 jumping horses to 1.40m.

Enthusiastic and cheerful person , who is willing to learn and work as part of a happy team.

There would be some riding on well behaved kind natured horses .

Assisting with general yard duties and horse care including:

  • Riding
  • Lunging
  • Mucking out
  • Clipping
  • Turning out and bringing in
  • Feeding

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

  • A level 2 certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the apprenticeship, as well as functional skills in English and maths if required.
  • All training will take place within the workplace
  • Your dedicated trainer coach will visit you at work every 4 weeks.

Desirable qualifications

GCSE or equivalent in:

  • English (grade 1)
