We are looking to recruit an apprentice administrator to support the Practice to ensure that our relationships with clients can be optimised and assist with daily operation of the office.

Wage
£12,480 to £22,308 a year

The hours are from 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday - Thursday and then on a Friday, the working hours are 9.00am - 4.00pm.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

This role includes supporting the Practice to ensure that our relationships with clients can be optimised and assist with daily operation of the office. The responsibilities in the role are to:

  • Provide administrative support to the Practice
  • Ensure that files are complete with all required client identification documentation and necessary application forms
  • Learning the pre-meeting preparation and post-meeting follow-up requirements, including accurately updating client files on Salesforce CRM
  • Process applications accurately and record the required management information
  • Progress applications with product providers, advisers, clients, and other third parties to ensure that each case is completed in a timely manner
  • Answering incoming telephone calls, dealing confidently and effectively with clients, product providers and third parties with professional and effective communication skills
  • Meeting and greeting clients and visitors to the Practice
  • Liaison with SJP Admin Centres, providing information required to complete transactions within specific

  • Planning & prioritising: Consistently adheres to systems & processes using proficient IT skills, including risk, regulatory and governance requirements

Your training plan

The training will take place in the workplace and will consist of the following:

  • You will be assigned a number of workplace mentors at De Mellow and Co to support your journey on programme
  • You will also receive expert support from our industry specialist tutor

More training information

This apprenticeship will allow you to grow, develop and build on your current skills. It will also allow you to better you career opportunities in the finance industry.

  • You will receive support towards passing your RO1 exam which will in turn support your development at De Mellow
  • You will also receive a monthly visit from the industry expert who will structure your learning, revision and off the job training

GCSE in:

Desirable qualifications

  • Business Studies (grade 4-9)
  • ICT (grade 4-9)
