From attracting and recruiting talent and delivering training programmes to partnering with the Firm's businesses to manage strategic human capital issues, HR has a true seat at the table.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
A typical day:
- Co-ordinating written communications
- Assisting in the creation and upload of internal communication sites
- Supporting day to day operational management, including responding to employee queries
- Supporting with the preparation of company-wide communications & presentations
- Supporting the review of templates for HCM specific documentation
- Analysing data, identifying key trends and presenting this back to internal audiences
- Working on ad-hoc projects across the HCM division
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships across the wider team and business

- Source and migrate data from already identified different sources.
- Collect, format and save datasets.
- Summarise and explain gathered data.
- Blend data sets from multiple sources and present in format appropriate to the task.
- Manipulate and link different data sets as required.
- Use tools and techniques to identify trends and patterns in data.
- Apply basic statistical methods and algorithms to identify trends and patterns in data.
- Apply cross checking techniques for identifying faults and data results for data project requirements.
- Audit data results.
- Demonstrate the different ways of communicating meaning from data in line with audience requirements.
- Produce clear and consistent technical documentation using standard organisational templates.
- Store, manage and distribute in compliance with data security standards and legislation.
- Explain data and results to different audiences in a way that aids understanding.
- Review own development needs.
- Keep up to date with developments in technologies, trends and innovation using a range of sources.
- Clean data i.e. remove duplicates, typos, duplicate entries, out of date data, parse data (e.g. format telephone numbers according to a national standard) and test and assess confidence in the data and its integrity.
- Operate as part of a multi-functional team.
- Prioritise within the context of a project.

Your training plan
Data Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
- 20% off your working week will be dedicated to 'Off the job training' - ie apprenticeship studies which are completed online during work hours
- This will include independent self paced learning, online tutorials alongside other apprentices and 1:1 coaching
Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4-9 (C-A*))
- Maths (grade 4-9 (C-A*))
A Level in:
- Three A-Levels - any subjects (grade A* - C)
