Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Duties include:

  • Hand assembling ice protection panels and systems.
  • Reading engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances to ensure quality standards are achieved.
  • Using a range of hand tools including verniers, scribes and hand drills.
  • Inspecting of finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Adhering to strict Health and Safety practices whilst onsite.
