Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Work on heavy machinery, ensuring manufacturing plants are safe, functional, and efficient.
  • Complete daily maintenance to a high standard.
    Conduct mechanical and health and safety tests to ensure systems are reliable.
  • Manage site breakdowns by identifying and repairing faults.
  • Suggest innovative ideas to enhance production efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, prioritising safety in all tasks.
  • Tackle tasks both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in dusty or confined spaces – full protective equipment and safety support will always be provided.
