Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Warehousing & Finishing
- Transport, pack, remove and dispose of materials for all areas of the business.
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, racking or vehicles.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations, including wearing of protective equipment when disposing of materials as regulated by law.
- Ensure warehouse layout and visual management is always kept to a high standard, including the delivery Yard.
- Load and unload materials Including back door Items and then move to the correct location.
- Stock control to assist with auditing of production items.
- Read work orders or follow verbal instructions, including computer transactions.
- Metal Finishing and Heat Treatment service, to the specifications established within Technical Work Instructions and processes, in accordance with quality standards and the production plan.
