Possibility of Christmas and end of financial year bonus ( not guaranteed). This is dependant on sales figures and profit made.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Panel build (fitting electrical components to a back plate)
- Reading wiring schematics and interpret cable sizes, ferrule type
- Wiring of Mounting plate to an approved circuit diagram
- Occasional mechanical work, building and testing of Ex enclosures
- Electrical fault finding & rework
- Opportunity for off site electrical work (after induction training)

- Apprenticeship Standard is Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative
- You will be required to attend Plymouth Engineering Skills Centre a day a week as part of your apprenticeship training
Additional units include:
- AUEC2-039 Assembling, wiring and testing electrical panels/components mounted in enclosures
- AUEC2-010 Wiring and testing electrical equipment & circuits
- AUEC2-00 Maintaining electrical units/ systems

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4/C)
- Maths (grade 4/C)
