Summary

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Level 3 Multi-channel Marketer apprentice based in the S3 area of Sheffield. The successful applicant will be offered a Monday-Friday working week and a good rate of pay.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Help the marketing manager produce online graphics using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator 
  • Help maintain and develop the Uniplex UK and Ragg Tuning Forks websites using software such as WordPress and Elementor
  • Generate leads through email marketing using Hubspot 
  • Operate and develop the company’s social media channels 
    Producing engaging blog content 
  • Develop customer service skills by helping with customer queries on products 
  • Attend exhibitions with the Marketing Manager

  • Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
  • Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
  • Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
  • Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
  • Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
  • Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
  • Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
  • Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
  • Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
  • Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
  • Use a website content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
  • Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
  • Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
  • Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.
  • Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement.
  • Use data analysis tools to record, interpret and analyse customer or campaign data.

Your training plan

The delivery of this qualification will be remote learning and lessons will take place on a weekly basis.

In addition to this, the Assessor will spend time with the apprentice working on a one-to-one basis to build and complete their portfolio of evidence that supports all learning that has taken place.

GCSE in:

Desirable qualifications

GCSE in:

  • Business (grade A*-C or 9-4)

About this company

Uniplex is a medical device manufacturer, distributor, and repairer, in the heart of Sheffield. We work with the NHS and private hospitals to provide solutions to the operating room and sterile service departments. The company also manufactures tuning forks which are used in music, medicine, sound therapy and science, therefore the company offers B2B and B2C sales channels. The line manager would be the Marketing Manager who has a BA Hons in Marketing and currently studying an MBA sponsored by Uniplex, so understands the distance learning process.

After this apprenticeship

The skills developed at Uniplex will allow the apprentice to start a marketing career by gaining a broad range of expertise. These skills can be then further developed by gaining more experience at Uniplex and taking on more responsibility post apprenticeship or will allow a career into a specific area of marketing such as SEO, content creator, etc.
