If you have at least some experience in using video editing software (e.g. Premier Pro), along with Photoshop, then you could be the perfect candidate for this job. Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

We are looking for an apprentice who is vibrant, enthusiastic and talented to fill a Marketing role. If you have at least some experience in using video editing software (e.g. Premier Pro), along with Photoshop, then you could be the perfect candidate for this job. However, experience is not required.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has some flair for all things creative from editing social posts to assisting with content generation for our social platforms and ad campaigns.

When you are not creating social content, you will be working on other Marketing objectives such email campaigns and researching companies overseas etc. to make our marketing more customer-focused. This includes planning and executing e-newsletters, website pages and managing Facebook ads and Google/Bing campaigns with a third party.

This role will be busy and exciting to explore your creativity and editing skills to drive growth globally within the business. The overall aim of everything you produce will be to inform and attract existing and potential customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and produce compelling creative video and photo content to support all our marketing activities – recording and editing
  • Schedule and publish the content across various platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok
  • Updating the websites with video content as well as blog posts and case studies
  • Develop relationships with customers for ongoing video content
  • Managing the CRM system to monitor RPO and cost vs spend
  • Liaise with third parties for graphic design and promotional material such as brochures, leaflets and email newsletters
  • Liaise with our third-party digital agency to monitor campaigns and ad spends through Facebook, Google, Bing, and Microsoft ads to evaluate ROI – this includes supplying the agency with video and photo content
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices and monitoring of video content activities of competitor websites

  • Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
  • Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
  • Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
  • Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
  • Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
  • Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
  • Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
  • Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
  • Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
  • Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
  • Use a website content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
  • Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
  • Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
  • Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.
  • Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement.
  • Use data analysis tools to record, interpret and analyse customer or campaign data.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • Maths & English (grade 4 or above)

Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.
