Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
As part of the role, you will develop knowledge and skills to become a competent financial services administrator. The tasks to be completed will include the following:
- Process applications and paperwork, some of which maybe time critical
- Complete quotation for mortgage, protection and other financial products (attention to details is essential)
- Respond to in-person and telephone inquiries from customers and advisers
- Use Microsoft Office suite
- Coordinate all administrative functions such as filing, word processing, copying, faxing and mailings
- Prepare reports
- Take ownership of the tasks assigned
- Perform other duties assigned by manager

Your training plan
As well as on the job training, you will complete a Financial Services Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship standard. This will include working towards CF1 or R01 via the CII.

Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
- English (grade C/4)
- Maths (grade C/4)
