Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

We are looking for an apprentice to help with the day-to-day jobs involved with the running of a poultry farm, strictly following health & safety and bird welfare legislative standards. Adhering to security and site safety rules,, care of poultry, daily review of feed and drink, cleaning of sheds, grounds maintenance and record keeping..

The role requires a fit, individual due to the nature of the work involved, committed, happy to muck in with anything and everything,

Minimum qualifications are required, with relevant qualifications being achieved through Poultec. A great opportunity for someone who is more practical, than academic, but wants to learn a skill and get paid whilst doing it.

One of the biggest, main attributes we require is someone who has an interest in poultry and would be keen to learn more about it. A trial period is welcome, we are aiming on having someone in place from early 2025.
