Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Carry out pump maintenance and repair work working at customers houses and in the company workshop
- Perform routine and reactive services on pumping equipment
- Observing the operations of the day to day including stores stock level checks

- Level 2 Functional Skills - maths (If required)
- Level 2 Functional Skills - English (If required)
- End Point Assessment at the end of the apprenticeship

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
- A Min of 5 GCSE's inc Science, English & Maths (grade 4-9 (C-A*))

Working on pumping equipment in and outside of customers homes, some systems are located in the gardens others in houses. Includes working on both Water and Sewage pump systems.
