Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
As a Student Accountant your day to day work will encompass:
- Assisting in the preparation and execution of audit plans
- Working closely with senior auditors on various client engagements
- Developing a thorough understanding of audit methodologies and practices
- Collaborating with clients to gather and analyse financial data

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Your training plan
- You will be working towards a Level 4 AAT Apprenticeship, which will be between 18 months to 2 years in duration
- You will be provided with one study day per week, which will be spent at a Kaplan Centre for taught lessons

GCSE or equivalent in:
- English (grade 6)
- Maths (grade 6)
- any subject (grade A - C)
