Wage £19,500 pa increasing annually with progression of NVQ. Hours Mon-Fri 7.30-4.30 1 Hour Lunch. Holiday 28 Days including Bank Holidays. Start Date ASAP for the right candidate. Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Experience in working on a roof
  • Able to accommodate a tradesman's needs without excessive instruction
  • Able to prepare work areas for the roofers upon instruction and load materials safely
  • Be trained in manual handling, working at height and abrasive wheels
  • Be competent in the safe use of hand and power tools e.g., hand saw, grinder, hammer
  • Have knowledge of roofing materials - recognise eaves, gables, tiles, trims, outlets, liquids etc
