Apprentices are required to be flexible to meet the needs of the business, and punctuality is key. Working as part of a team and using own initiative are essential. The average working week will be between 35-40 hours, Monday - Friday, shifts to be confirmed.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

Your training plan
Level 3 - Advanced Diploma Early Years Educator - Your apprenticeship will last for 13 months. You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship, as well as a mentor within the nursery. Apprentices must successfully evidence a First Aid qualification approved by EYFS.

GCSE or equivalent in:
- Maths & English (grade 4 / C / Functional Skills L2)

Other requirements
You will need to attend online training with your Assessor for 10 days out of your 13-month apprenticeship, for your classroom-based learning and you will be working within the nursery for the rest of the time with the support of your dedicated childcare assessor.
About this company
The nursery provides safe, homely and stimulating care for low numbered children aged between 12 months to 5 years. We are also registered to take children up to the age of eight before 31st Aug, during school holidays and after school.
