Summary
We’re looking for a motivated person to join a proactive team. You’ll gain valuable, hands-on experience that will expose you to the recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle and offboarding processes. You’ll be the first point of contact for admin queries and contribute to the wider people's agenda as part of the team.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
The list of duties will include:
- Recruitment / induction
- Maintaining files and information
- Drafting and sending HR letters and correspondence
- Supporting with note-taking in HR meetings
- Functional HR processes such as issuing lanyards, smart cards etc
- Provide first-line administrative support to the HR Team, including managing mailboxes, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork
- Ensure People data and documentation are kept up to date
Any other ad hoc duties as requested by the managers.

Your training plan
As a Level 3 HR Support apprentice, you will complete the following qualifications as part of your apprenticeship:
- Level 3 HR Support apprenticeship standard
- You will also develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to work within an office environment
- This apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace and 6 hours a week of your working time will be dedicated towards training and learning new skills
- You will be allocated a tutor who will provide you with personal support and assessment at pre-arranged times
- Assessment is through a variety of methods including observations in the workplace, witness testimonies, product evidence and professional discussions
- All evidence will be logged to your electronic portfolio

Desirable qualifications
GCSE in:
- IT (grade 4)
