As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and
work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
The position will encompass diverse projects, ranging from process enhancements to the implementation of new infrastructure, such as the Cranswick MEX/ERP/MRP system. Your contribution will be crucial in generating valuable reports, upgrading, and facilitating wider adoption of these solutions.
As an integral part of the project team, your journey will commence with comprehensive learning from the team. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the systems, existing processes, and contribute to system and hardware setup. Your involvement will extend to participation in project meetings, where your insights and ideas will be highly valued. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in creating detailed documentation and process flows, as well as assisting in the training of end users.
Collaborating with the rest of the team, you will contribute to the successful execution of projects and the attainment of project deliverables. This role will provide ample opportunities for expanding your knowledge, refining your skills, and swiftly advancing within the project team, all within a rapidly evolving industry landscape.
Main Duties:
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and delivery of essential technology projects and processes
- Engage with business units to gather pertinent information, thus facilitating project delivery
- Work alongside business units to enhance their utilisation of technology, fostering continuous development
- Execute designated project tasks as necessitated by project demands
- Coordinate, attend, and actively contribute to stakeholder meetings, ensuring effective communication and alignment
- Assume responsibility for individual workstream deadlines in the context of the overarching project plan, guaranteeing the timely completion of project tasks
- Provide end-user training during project implementation to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies
- Develop comprehensive project documentation, training materials, and instructional videos to support project communication and knowledge transfer

Other requirements
You will be required to travel between the various Cranswick sites on a day to day basis, which may include overnight accommodation (all expenses will be reimbursed). A driving licence and willingness to travel is essential for this role.
