A pharmacy group are hoping to recruit a hardworking and determined candidate to work within the team of qualified professionals in their Shildon branch as an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant. Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Delivery of customer service
- Dispensing of medication to patients
- Over-counter sales of non-prescription medication
- Check and monitor prescription slips
- Health & safety responsibility
- Observing COVID restrictions and guidelines
- Use of patient record systems and use of smart card
- Data entry relating to medication
- Labelling and dispensing
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Numerate
- Working within a team environment
- Liaison with doctors' surgery and health professionals
