Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Help to lead digitilisation topics in industrial product design and development, including real time low level embedded software, micro controllers, operating systems and processors.
- Support application and mobile platform development.
- Digital electronics & programming and scripting using languages such as c, c++, java, .NET, html etc.)

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- 5x including Science and English Language (grade 4)
- Maths (grade 5)
- Suitable subjects e.g. Maths and Physics (grade C)
