Summary
Our Accountancy/Taxation Professional Apprenticeship is the equivalent of a Level 7 qualification. Upon gaining this qualification, you will be overseeing a team of accountants, acting as a mentor in a professional capacity whilst assisting with strategic decision-making within the business.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing accounts for different entities, filing tax returns, and supporting the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Complete Self-assessment and Corporation Tax returns accurately and promptly
- Preparing VAT returns for clients
- Provide training and support to team members to enhance their professional growth

- This is a Level 7 Degree Apprenticeship (Accountancy/ Taxation Professional – ACCA Route) with a total duration of 30 months
The knowledge units will be delivered at the EMA training hub in Derby or Nottingham (depending on apprentices’ location) through day release - You will be allocated a Learning & Development Mentor to support you through the duration of your studies
- Apprentices without English or mathematics at Level 2 must achieve this prior to the completion of the End Point Assessment
