Summary
Commis Chef is a great way of getting started in a kitchen and this apprenticeship focuses on food preparation and basic cooking tasks under the supervision of a more senior chef. Chefs will learn how to carry out basic functions in every section of the kitchen from a series of kitchen masterclasses, and culinary and development workshops.

Work

The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated work based trainer who will provide support and guidance throughout the course. This Apprenticeship requires attendance for classroom based sessions once per week at the East Riding College Bridlington campus.

About this company
We are a beautiful quirky family run eatery set on platform 2 of Cottingham Station. We serve a wide range of dishes, with our menu's carefully composed by our fabulous head chef, Wendy. Using local butchers, fish merchants and produce from Chef Wendy’s allotment, allowing us to change the menu with the seasons. We offer breakfast, brunch, lunch and on the first Friday of the month our popular supper clubs.
