We have an exciting opportunity to join our small team of qualified professionals in our pharmacy as a Pharmacy Apprentice. Our pharmacy is a fast paced environment so we are looking for a hard working individual that is keen to learn.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Dispensing of medication to patients
- Over-counter sales of non-prescription medication
- Check and monitor prescription slips
- Health and safety responsibility
- Observing covid restrictions and guidelines
- Use of patient record systems and use of smart card
- Data entry relating to medication
- Labelling and dispensing
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Numerate
- Working within a team environment
- Liaison with doctors surgery and health professionals
