Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
At our new Siemens Mobility Components facility in Goole, this role would be part of the team responsible for:
- Overhauling, root cause analysis & repair of a range of different components such as gearboxes, motors, fans, and HVAC systems, all of which are used and supplied back into the Rail industry.
- As an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter, you would ensure products and solutions are assembled efficiently, safely, at the right cost and to the right level of quality in order to meet customer order requirements & industry standards alike.

GCSE in:
- 5X including Science and English Language (grade 4)
- Maths (grade 5)
