Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for two Apprentices at one of the country's leading Engineering companies. This unique role will allow candidates to learn and specialise in multiple aspects of Engineering. This company is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic candidate, who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty, and has a passion for Engineering.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team and will help out with the following tasks on a daily basis:

Engineering operations:

Carrying out engineering operations, such as;

  • Servicing and Maintenance
  • Operating Machines,
  • Assembling and repairing
  • Welding and Fabricating
  • Electrical
  • Coating
  • Fitting (On-site)

Safety:

  • Complying with safety regulations, identifying hazards, and preparing work areas

Documentation:

  • Following job documentation and work instructions, and completing documentation accurately and on time

Communication:

  • Demonstrating oral, written, and electronic communication skills

Problem-solving:

  • Addressing issues efficiently and minimizing waste

GCSE in:

  • Maths & English (grade 4 or above)
