Summary
An Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant is required. Your main responsibilities will be ensuring the smooth running of the dispensary, dispensing medication effectively and safely, managing stock levels and be another expert for our customers to talk to, providing healthcare advice and services at the counter.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Delivery of customer service
- Dispensing of medication to patients
- Over counter sales of non-prescription medication
- Check and monitor prescription slips
- Health & Safety responsibility
- Observing COVID restrictions and guidelines
- Use of patient record systems and use of smart card
- Data entry relating to medication
- Labelling and dispensing
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Numerate
- Working within a team environment
- Liaison with doctors' surgery and health professionals
