Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Operating and maintaining factory machinery and equipment
· Assembling products using hand tools and mechanical/automated equipment
· Inspecting and testing products to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements of each product line
· Packaging and labelling products for shipment or overseeing packaging machinery
· Collaborating with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines
· Following and advocating safety procedures and regulations
