Summary
We are looking to employ a light vehicle apprentice to service and maintain a fleet of vans. As an apprentice you will work alongside qualified technicians that will support you in your training. You will ensure all work carried out is completed accurately and to a high standard, plus more.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Under supervision, carry out work on vehicles in accordance with the manufacture’s procedures
- Ensure all work carried out is completed accurately and to a high standard
- Accurately complete reports, including any written descriptions of faults found or repairs completed
- To comply with the company's working practices and procedures. Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others
- To undertake training as agreed by the manager/tutor. Attend college as required to gain the relevant qualifications
- Ensure that tools are kept clean and are maintained in a serviceable condition
- Identify & procure correct parts for repairs
- Demonstrate technical expertise in the practical and theoretical aspects of vehicle systems
- Demonstrates and maintain an appropriate level of technical expertise for a technician in the motor industry. Inspects vehicles and complete allocated work efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate will colleagues to ensure high standard of work
