Summary
This is an excellent position for the right person to take the first step into payroll. The role will be extremely varied and expose the individual to a large variety of tasks helping to build up a strong skill set within our payroll function.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
A normal day would include:
- Checking manual and computerised timesheets
- Processing information using computerised payroll systems
- Understanding budgeted allowance per site to enable:
- Entering of individuals actual payroll attendance, compare against budgeted allowance
- Calculating hours worked against allowed budget for any variances
- Raise an alarm if hours are exceeded and follow the process for recharging
- Similarly, an awareness of under hours worked and the need for any potential credit notes to be raised
- Understand and follow boundaries per site using our geofence software
- Training will be given on the two payroll software systems: Cleanlink and Timegate
