This is an exciting opportunity as March Hair are looking for two apprentices to join their friendly hairdressing team in their busy City Centre Salon If you are creative with good social skills and keen to learn then this could be for you.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

- Meeting and greeting clients and offering refreshments
- Booking appointments
- Shampooing & conditioning
- Blowdrying & styling
- Colouring & lightening using a range of techniques
- Supporting other stylists

Hairdressing Professional Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:
- Alongside all practical aspects you willl study hairdressing topics such as hair and skin testing, the effects of chemicals on hair and skin, and the principles of hair colour selection, alongside environmental and sustainable working practices
- There is also the option to learn about promoting products, perming, and working with different hair types.
- You will be required to attend weekly college masterclasses to cover additional practical training, alongside structured theory sessions to enable you to cover the Level 2 Hair Professional Standard requirements
- Training will take place at Skills Group Training Academy, Derry's Cross, Plymouth PL1 2SG
