Summary
We are looking to employ a light vehicle apprentice to service and maintain a fleet of vans. As an apprentice you will work alongside qualified technicians that will support you in your training.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Under supervision, carry out work on vehicles in accordance with the manufacture’s procedures
- Ensure all work carried out is completed accurately and to a high standard
- Accurately complete reports, including any written descriptions of faults found or repairs completed
- To comply with the company's working practices and procedures. Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others
- To undertake training as agreed by the manager / tutor. Attend College as required to gain the relevant qualifications
- Ensure that tools are kept clean and are maintained in a serviceable condition
- Identify & procure correct parts for repairs
- Demonstrate technical expertise in the practical and theoretical aspects of vehicle systems
- Demonstrates and maintain an appropriate level of technical expertise for a technician in the motor industry. Inspects vehicles and complete allocated work efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate will colleagues to ensure high standard of work
