About this company
Lorna runs the childcare nursery style setting from her own home, which creates a home from home environment. You will be working and gaining tremendous amounts of hands-on experience from Lorna and two childcare assistants. Between them we have many years of knowledge and experience to share to allow your transition from apprentice to qualified childcare assistant. Don’t be put off thinking working in a childminder’s home will be “like” babysitting, it's far from it. The nursery environment is monitored and graded by Ofsted just like the schools and private nurseries. And is currently graded “OUTSTANDING”
After this apprenticeship
Employment for the right person. The role and experience the employer provides will help set the candidate up with skills and knowledge that are transferable to other educational roles.
Several apprentices have moved on to become teachers, SEND leads in Nurseries, gone on to be paediatrics nurses, and nannies, as well as staying with the organisation to become valued members of the team.
