Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship - Dorset
Gain experience in retail
Learn about over-the-counter medicines
Assist in dispensing prescription medicines
Order pharmaceutical stock
Advise customers on over-the-counter medication
Assist with minor ailments
You MUST be interested in training and successful completion of the NHS phlebotomy course (taking bloods from patients)
Each morning, Mon - Fri - delivering phlebotomy service (taking bloods from patients at GP requests) within pharmacy consultation room
Each afternoon, working as a pharmacy assistant apprentice
