Summary
To spray paint material and units in accordance with the company standard. You will be trained on how to prepare and set up painting products and tools and learn the painting process from start to finish to produce high quality products.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Your day-to-day tasks include:
- Setting up painting equipment
- Sanding down and preparing the parts for spraying
- Selecting, matching and mixing paints
- Applying primer coats, main coats and finishes
- Carrying out quality checks
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment
As a paint sprayer we are looking for someone who is willing to learn and understand the following:
- Different spray medias
- Surface preparation ready for spraying
- Fault recognition
- A keen eye for detail and high standard of work
- Additional duties include assembly work.
