Summary
As Early Childhood Developer Apprentice you will support children between the ages of 0-5 in their development and care. Work to provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development, whilst also enhancing daily needs of children.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Learn whilst working
- Work to provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children that are appropriate
to their age and stage of development - Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
- Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor always
- Work within a team to support all children and team members within your room
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the Early Years Curriculum are met
