Summary
To provide support to internal and/or external customers, by using tools or systems to problem solve and trouble-shoot routine and non-routine problems. This apprenticeship will provide detailed and robust knowledge and skills both technical and soft skills.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Manage incidents and requests from end users.
- Renew PCs.
- Standardised Solutions documented in Support Tool.
- Solve issues and answer requests.
- Collect end users’ incidents and requests.
- Keep accurate inventory of IT assets (office, production hardware).
- Reconfigure hardware equipment depending on users’ needs.
- Answer user questions.
- Manage Level 1 support (solve issues using experience, procedures and trainings).
- Manage Level 2 support (problems not documented) and document solutions.

Other requirements
Regular use of computer to complete daily job tasks using OP Mobility applications. The job also entails attending IT jobs on the shop floor, where the apprentice must adhere to company health and safety policy, including the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment (this is provided where applicable).
