This role is working with customers to take orders for breakfasts and lunches mainly. Serving customers who are looking to buy from the shop, using the till. Meeting and greeting customers and giving the customer a good experience overall.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- This role will be taking orders from customers for breakfast, lunch and generally through the day.
- Dealing with orders, giving advice about the general products in the shop.
- Meeting and greeting customers.
- Giving advice on the shop products and understanding about up-selling products.
- Using the till and money transactions.
- Telephone enquiries and some social media awareness for the shop.
- Upholding policies and procedures for the shop.

This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release. The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested.
