Summary
We are currently seeking to appoint a personable and motivated ALS Administrator Apprentice to work with the Additional Learning Support Department, to assist with the day-to-day duties. You will liaise closely and form effective working relationships with staff, students and third parties such as external agencies.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Promote the professional image of the college at all times, and in all dealings with either internal or external parties
- Liaise closely and form effective working relationships with staff, students and third parties such as external agencies
- Assist day to day administration tasks, including arranging meetings, managing department email boxes, collating information, opening & distributing post, filing, data entry, note taking, photocopying and distributing documents
- Deal with telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries from both internal and external sources, providing an excellent level of customer service
- Undertake full training on the enrolments and student database systems to provide support to the curriculum administrators and student services team during the busy enrolment periods
- Take part in key College events, such as enrolment, open day/evenings etc.
- Carry out other such duties as may be reasonably requested by the Line Manager, at any college location, commensurate with the level of post.
