Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Apprentice to join our finance team. This role offers diverse experience through the Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and preparation of monthly Management Accounts. With full training, the candidate will gain hands-on financial-procurement experience, supporting DTP’s sales teams and valued customers.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Posting daily cash from customers
- Liaising with customers to ensure invoices are paid on time
- Preparing invoices for sign off and processing against nominal codes
- Preparing the weekly payment run
- Statement reconciliation
- Dealing with internal and external queries
- Working with the Management Accountant to prepare the monthly management accounts
